For this project, our team has been given the opportunity to design a table and a bench out of old reclaimed wood from old houses that were built in the 1970s. The wood is old and has very tight grain, meaning working with it will be an experiment and exploration of the material’s characteristics. We want our design to focus on the story of the wood, and to feature the wooden texture with a minimal design.
